You Taught Me
Talina wrote You Taught Me to share her experience volunteering to help special needs children. Her dedication to making a difference continues through this book, as proceeds from every sale contribute to supporting children with disabilities. The story follows a group of six kids with special needs who make the most out of every day. As the children paint, garden and blow bubbles, readers learn that valuable life skills, such as determination and patience, make life more meaningful for us all.
About the author
Talina Papazian is a 17-year-old Canadian writer from Toronto and one of the many dedicated youth we are proud to have on our team. She has invested a great deal of time exploring the world of disabilities in her volunteer work at Holland Bloorview, a children’s rehabilitation hospital. The children she worked with taught her life lessons and shed light on a new perspective: happiness must come from within. With the hope of becoming a paediatric healthcare specialist, Talina’s goal is to have a positive impact on the lives of children who are faced with medical challenges.
