The grades six to eight, developmentally delayed kids at Brookview Middle School in Toronto were the inspiration for Samantha Fung and her charity, Music For Every Child. “At the beginning, students would be, like, kind of nervous and shy, and then the end of the year they’d be a lot more confident and even get up in the middle of the class and start dancing,” said the 14-year-old from Mississauga.
